Jake is a bit developmentally delayed, but he is receiving language and physical therapy and is improving. His motor skills are on target. He can assist adults with cleaning, dress and undress himself, use the bathroom, and brush his teeth. He can communicate using simple language.  He is happy when he is pampered by others’ actions or words and when others pay attention to him.

Mason also has some developmental delays in language and cognition and is receiving physical and speech therapy, which has helped him improve. His fine motor skills are on target, but he is a little less coordinated in his gross motor skills. He can communicate using simple sentences but is still learning the names of many objects. He enjoys being with peers. As long as he feels secure in his environment, his emotion is stable, and he is happy. He is happy when he receives compliments.
